As reported by Sin Today. After overmining divinium in the Jade Lotus Empire, the lands revolted and an explosion shook the realm. The result was many new islands floating far above the land and the industrious citizens of the Jade Lotus lost no time in rebuilding their home in the sky. Without further adieu, Sin Today's very own travel guide: Mr. Noodle's Guide to the Jade Lotus Empire* * Though presented in IC format, this is an OOC guide to the new Cabbala Rebuild. Like most oldtimey travel guides, this guide may be outdated as the build changes. Major Builds The Imperial Palace - The Empress' seat of power for her Empire, sitting high above her lands. The Sakura Throne sits upon a diaz made of entire jade, where her Imperial Court sits and holds council. On the second floor are the offices and training area for the Imperial Army. On the Dragon's Landing balcony, there is a shrine to the late Shogun, Gin. The Maiden Shrine - Adjacent to the Imperial Palace, The Maiden Shrine is where the Jade Oracle performs service and prayer to the kami, and communes with the celestial heavens. The Ancestral Graveyard houses the remains of the most venerated of the Empire. The Jade Village - On the central island, where the main World Sakura Tree resides, is the Jade Village, capital of the Jade Empire. The village houses the Market, and is the central business area for the faction. Upon arriving into the faction, one comes out of the portal into the Jade Village. The Infirmary and Imperial Welcome center are located near the portal. There is a cafe, an alchemy shop, a magic shop, a forge, and a brewery as established shops to run and RP in, as well as a handful of empty buildings and stalls for new upcoming businesses and external merchants. The Celestial Anchor - On a misted island, below the Imperial Palace, lays an island that sits upon another island, surrounded by 6 stone pillars. Guarded by an ancient Ryu (Dragon Spirit) lays the Celestial Anchor, that binds the blessings of the kami to the JLE. This is the final focus for the monthly blessing. Yin Yang Residential District - One of two residential districts of the Jade Village. This is setup for communal living, and does not afford the same privacy as the individual rental islands. The Yin Yang design of the garden at its center gives this district its name. Jade Noodle Residential District - One of two residential districts of the Jade Village. This is setup for communal living, and does not afford the same privacy as the individual rental islands. The Tri-Noodle Jade fountain at its center gives this district its name. The Red Lantern District (Entertainment District) - More commonly known as the Entertainment District by the locals, this district houses the Hot Springs, The Okiya, The Inn, and Nekoyami Island, where the Kabuki-Cat Troupe performs its plays. The old Crouching Sushi, Hidden Noodle stands reside here. The Okiya and Fuleao Clan Guild Hall - The Okiya is the central location for food and drink, whether it be sake or tea. They have an extensive menu, and provide other services of less legal nature under the table. The Okiya currently is owned by the Fuleao Clan Guild. They reside in the structure over the Okiya, where they can manage its dealings and follow the ways of their Clan. The High House of Light (Elven/Fae Island) - Near the Jade Village, there resides an island with foreign architecture, and unknown flora. By decree of the most magnanimous Empress, The High House of Light was created as an invitation for all creatures of light to come and dwell, as a refuge from the world below.. All Elves, Fae, and Celestial creatures are welcome to enjoy this build, as a gateway into the JLE. The Yokai Forest - The JLE has always been a force of balance in Sincadere. Though the Empress has risen the mountains and the capital into the sky, much of the Empire is still on the ground below. Sincadere still must thrive. Balance must be maintained. The Empress and her people established strong enchantments on the world sakura tree that hangs below the build. This tree pulls the corruption of the realm into itself, and into the islands below the main island. As a result, corruption opens up portals, letting in all kinds of yokai and oni (demons) into the forests. Most are pulled from this realm, along with the majority of the corruption, into the Void shrine, where it is vented from the realm. This allows the islands above to stay pure from the world's darkness. Within one of the islands of the Yokai forest, resides a cave dripping with corrupted ichor....and tentacles. Minor Builds The Earth Shrine - The Shrine of Earth lies within what is left of the bamboo forest, after the mountain was raised. It is home to a family of Panda, and is a good space to hold RP on its spacious island. The Air Shrine - High above, near the Imperial palace, the air shrine is surrounded by turbulent winds, and a blizzard of sakura. The nekoyami love to go up there, and play with their pinwheels. The Fire Shrine - Under the Hot Springs, within the island resides a cave where the fire kami call home. The heat is intense, but the fire kami protect against the worst of it, for such is their blessings. The Water Shrine - Under the Imperial Palace, there sits a basin of water filled by a stone that weeps perpetual pure water into its basin. Below, under the watery depths, resides the Water Shrine. The water kami's blessing allows those that worship them to breathe the water as if the water was air. There is also an aquatic social area where aquatic characters can swim and relax. The Void Shrine - Deep within the Yokai Forest, under its shadowed domes, resides the newest element. The Void is all elements, and yet none. Its kami are few and rare. Most of them reside in the Void itself, where the corruption bleeds into it. Nekoyami Island - Attached to the Red Lantern District is Nekoyami island where the Kabuki-Cat Theater Troupe has their plays. This is also where the nekoyami come to play and socialize when a play isn't going on. The stage is for all in the empire to use. The Hot Springs - (These are orgy hot springs, you must sit on TOP of the tree stumps in order to sit on the Hot springs and access the animation menu. The base of the stumps are leash holders. It can hold up to 16+ people between the two hot spring levels.) The hot springs are for public use, though the Okiya provides services to those that wish to relax in their kami heated waters. Below the springs is the Fire Shrine, the blessing of the fire kami is to make the Springs pleasantly warm, but not too hot. Rice Farm - This island provides most of the rice for the floating capital. It is a great RP area with lewd furniture available, and an open field for fights and general RP. The Market - Home to 4 stalls, for newer businesses and merchants from outside the JLE. This is a small quaint market where citizens can shop new and/or exotic wares from outside the Empire's borders. The Imperial Welcome Center - This is where most new members of the faction should go to the Imperial Welcome Center. It has a red roof and is to the left, surrounded by the Dragon Road. This is also where the Imperial Research Commission library resides, on the second floor. The Fae Village - Located behind The Hight House of Light, lays a small fae village for petites. The buildings are deco, but there is petite furniture and an area for the smaller folk to talk, lounge and socialize. The Tentacle Cave - Hidden within the Yokai Forest islands lays a cave that the corruption dripped its ichor, and from its depths tentacles spew forth to those helpless victims that wander in. Landmarks and Details of Interest World Sakura Trees - The World Sakura Trees hold the enchantment that causes the mountain to float. Grown and imbued with celestial magic, these mega trees and their roots are excellent perches, and walk ways between the islands and paths. At the top of each tree lays a Noodle Roost where the Empire's dragons, sleep, mate, and nest. The Nekoyami - The Nekoyami are the servant caste of the Jade Lotus Empire. Like most cats, they have long forgotten the injustice done to their ancestors and serve the Empire with the joy of 'lesser beings'. In defense of the Empress, the nekoyami are treated well for their services, even if they are not respected amongst most of the nobility. They serve with genuine smiles, never missing the freedoms they never knew. The Oniyami - Much like the Nekoyami, the Oniyami serve the Empress. These lil demons are captured, and made to swear magical fealty, to help maintain the Yokai Forest, and contain the yokai within. Flower Globes - Magical flowers cultivated with globes in their roots, creating light and beauty for the empire. The Spirit Koi - Two spirit Koi revolve around the central World Sakura Tree. These Koi hail from the celestial heavens, and are part of the enchantment that binds the World Sakura Trees, and the celestial magic that keeps the islands a float. Enchanted Floating Lanterns - These lanterns once floated above the waterfalls of the old JLE, they now float around the main World Sakura Tree. The animals of the JLE - The new JLE has come to life with fauna selectively place throughout the build. There are Pandas, Cranes, and Foxes. The Noodle Roosts - On top of each World Sakura Tree is a curved bowl. These bowls are where noodles rest and roost, mate, and lay their egg clutches. Though these bowls are not claimed by the noble creatures. The Dragon Road - One of the first things built in the new Jade Village, the Dragon road was made to honor Tsuiteru and her kin. The Air Kami's Permanent Blessing and Taxi Service - The Empress, and the Jade Oracle in their infinite wisdom made a pact with the Air Kami, regardless of blessing to ensure the safety of all its citizens and guests. Anyone that falls off an island, will be returned immediately to the same spot they fell from by the kami. This does NOT apply to enemies of the Empire. The Air Kami also provide a service taking any allies or citizens to islands not directly connected by roots or bridges. Credits Builders: Mr. Noodle, Noodle, Fantasy, Brianna
Asset Ideas and Donations: Koharu, Mitsuki, Molly Polish and Cleanup Crew: Seth, The White Hound, Steel Noodle, Kallen As reported by Sin Today. After a disastrous flood, the Cabbala, led by the nefarious Daniella Travesty - The Silver Terror, has rebuilt the cavern into a dark paradise for the underground denizens. Cabbala's new home comes complete with cliff dwelling homes, a hanging arena, and a massive keep that is as imposing as those that live in the caverns. Without further adieu, Sin Today's very own travel guide: Mr. Noodle's Guide to the Cabbala Amartia* * Though presented in IC format, this is an OOC guide to the new Cabbala Rebuild. Like most oldtimey travel guides, this guide may be outdated as the build changes. _________________________________________________________________________________ Shared and Recommended Environment: Barcelona LZ TP Portal Image: Major Builds The Keep - The seat of power for the Cabbala. Mined from a cavern quarry made of obsidian, many slaves and mighty magic were used to build the new home of the Cabbala's Archon. The first floor houses both the offices of the Archon and their second in command, as well as the Throne Room above. On the second floor resides the Faction Lead and her 2ic's personal living spaces (Rentals). Beware the two main guard beasts Bob and Ross. The Cabbala College of Obscure Arts (CCOA) (Guild) - This mighty school of magic was built entirely by its own mystical arts, at the direction of their Headmistress, faculty, and students. It combines both new and familiar tones, housing the Verdant Branch healer's space in its basement below. It keeps a watchful gaze upon the new rebuilt cavern with its ornate stained glass window, overlooking the faction. Check out its updated library/classroom, and the new student dormitories. (Image shown above to the left) The Dark Merchants (Guild) - The third floor of the keep, only accessible by a dangerious cliff, with an entrance on the side of the Keep, or a high perch, houses the Dark Merchant's Guild hall. Where they do secretive and dastardly things in the name of Cabbala Amartia The Sentry Hall (Guild) - The last building that makes up the Keep's megacomplex, is the Sentry's Guild Hall. This is where they imprison captives, interrogate them, and house the factions most deadliest of guards. Made of the same stone as the Keep, its resident's are able and ready for dispatch at a moment's notice. It houses a mess hall, cells, torturing devices, and a place for the guards to relax. The Crystal of Power - Set in the central lake of the Cabbala, majestic in its power and simplicity. The Crystal of Power is the purest form of Arcanite Crystal, the Cabbala owns. It has a circle of warding to protect the crystal. The Crystal of Power is within sight of all the powerful denizens of the faction, any who dare to tamper with it, beware. Cliff Dwelling City - On the east end of the build lays the natural cliffs of the cavern, where, through magic and the backs of slaves, imps, and goblin alike, the residents made their homes carved into the cliffs. Both north and south are central plazas for gathering/socialization/torture. High above the buildings a high ledge runs along the length of the Cliff Dwelling City build for the more brooding and stealthy of types. This is where the Cabbala rentals are set, within the cliff dwelling build itself. Cabbala offers a small selection of apartment like rentals, and an equal handful of individual rentals spaced for privacy despite deceptive appearance. Buildings with no lighting in the windows are rentals. The buildings within the cliffs are broken up into Districts. Please reference under Landmarks....The Districts. The Arena - Held up by a great magical ritual, the magic constantly upkept by 6 large Arcanite crystals, of less purity than the Crystal of Power. Supported by giant spikes of earth, and massive chains in case the magic fails. The arena will be center stage to ceremonies and battles, much like the pit fights and monster mash fights of old. The Slaver's Tower/ Punishment Platform - The center for Cabbala slavery and punishment. This is where the Vinculum Servitas's head slaver trains other slavers and breaks slaves, providing the faction, and other interested parties a place to peddle flesh. Attached to the Slaver's Tower is the Punishment Platform. Used in the auction of slaves, and punishment for faction laws broken. The Bound Elf Cavern Tavern - One of the top social centers, where drink flows, to include the Tavern's infamous Hellfire Whiskey, the Bound Elf caters to all. Located in the sub-caves, near the main teleport entrance, and adjacent to the faction's Fool's Market. Whether you want to sit at a table with friends, cuddle up on a couch, or punish/torture a slave (on a stage or in a cage), the updated cavern tavern has it for you. The proprietor sits on their throne overlooking customers and employee alike. The Bound Elf has a full service (lewd) kitchen is regularly supplied by a small dock used for deliveries and dumping of bodies that the Kraken promptly cleans up. The Fool's Market - The main teleport entry for the faction resides at the end of the Fool's Market. A series of market stalls and carts housing an eclectic collection of wares. The market is split in two by a narrow rock wall, housing two lanes of stalls for buyers to peruse. The faction's magic shop sits at one end of the market. Player ran businesses can be ran out of the handful of available stalls for use. But beware, those that don't follow the market's rules are fed into the world famous Meat Grinder. As you leave the market, don't forget to say bye to Chompers, the later gater on your way out.Minor Builds The Hound's Den (Opium Den and Brothel, provides services in Spa Baths.) - A den of decadence, this is where one can come to buy a variety of drugs, drink, and prostitutes. Persian in theme, sample their wares either in dark private areas, in the rooms above (Themed: Punishment and Pleasure), or take them to the faction's Spa Baths to relax in a bath. The Den is owned by The White Hound, ex-faction lead, where she serves the faction now as its premier Madam. The Waterway - Under the waters, is a forest of red grass and kelp. Beneath the Crystal of Power, in the deepest of underwater pits, a kraken resides, sealed away below, ready to be unleashed by the Archon, at their whim. A sacrificial post resides on the seal, to release or strengthen it at the Archon's whim. A stone underwater alter and seating available for aquatic denizens. Dark Primitive Conclave - Tucked away into the cliffs, there is an alcove that houses a primal crystal. Where there are pictographs on the walls of beasts and wild things. Dark underdark dwellers, with no culture or society worship this crystal, welcoming any who can give into their primal and darker instincts. A bonfire ever burns, casting shadows into the alcove's depths. The Blood Cave (Witches' cave/Cabal cave, dark ritual cave/deerskull cave) - Hidden within the cliffs in the cavern resides a cave. There is a rusted iron gate, and once you enter, you will soak your feet in the blood of many Cabbala enemies. Power is drawn from this blood and from the wood, much like the Traitor's Grove, has souls to be used in dark arts. It has been noted, it is a favored location of the current Faction Lead/Archon, Dani, The Mighty Silver Terror, as she practices her dark arts against her Faction's enemies. It is also good place to fuck in blood. The Dark Church - A general build to house cult and dark entity appeasement RP. The pews and alter are lewd. The Traitor's Grove - The enemies of the Cabbala can be venerated and respected, even if they fall before the faction's might. There is an even worse enemy than external threats, and that is those that fester within. The answer to those disloyal to the faction, and the ultimate punishment for treason, is Traitor's Grove. A grove of trees, twisted by dark magic to absorb the souls of all those that hang from their limbs. The left over corpses are free to eat by any of the citizens of the Cabbala, and those that are not are cultivated and eaten by the sentient trees that tend and guard the grove. The Watch Tower (Not what you think) - A deerskull building, open to all that wish to play or view the exotic scenery of the faction build. It offers a great vantage to view the waterfall, and other parts of the build, centrally located as it is. The Spa Baths - Open and free for all to use, these refreshing baths, offer seclusion and intimacy. The purple bath has healing properties, and there is a small social cove beneath the waters under the bridge for aquatic creatures. One may purchase any of the Hound's Den's services while relaxing in the Spa Baths. The Hedge Maze - The only naturally green thing cultivated within the cabbala. Grown with magic, not only do they look pretty, but they house deadly thorns. There have also been rumors that dark things travel the hedges. Some go in, and never come out. But that is only an unlucky few, inconsequential. Each dead end houses a fun little surprise, and at the heart of the maze is a pleasant social area to torture slaves and minions, while drinking a refreshments. Crafter Area - A general crafter's area for any to use. a Number of services is Blacksmith, tailoring, pottery, tannery as visual indicators. But this is an appropriate RP venue for any crafting RP, for example: carpentry, masonry, and glass blowing to name off a few. most of the stalls have some form of lewd furniture. Landmarks The Pride of Vaeros - A large phallus shaped rock outcropping that crowns The Mausoleum Graveyard. The name is fondly whispered when talking about the landmark, in name of their founder. Agitate the fauna at the tip to spew the ex-founder's glory all over the new Cabbala. The Districts - Sections of the Cliff Dwelling are broken up depending on the shelf fungus glowing high above. Facing toward the waterfall, from left to right you have: Red District, Purple 1 District, Blue 1 District, Green District, Blue 2 District, Purple 2 District. Each district corresponds to a crystalized mana fungus build near, whose magic is the cause of the surrounding fungal coloring. Food Stalls - Food Stalls are strewn throughout the cavern as a source of food to the people of the Cabbala. Details of Interest Crystalized Mana - As before, mana bubbles from the earth, and forms crystallized mana. There is purple and blue mana, which is common and in abundance throughout the cavern and in surrounding caves. Then there is the more rare green and red mana crystals. Cultivation and special rituals brought back these mana pockets strong than ever, influencing the surrounding local fauna. Mana can be seen bubbling out of the ground in glowing veins, which in turn are crystallized into glowing crystals. Surrounding each crystal cluster is a small scene of similarly colored fungus and mushrooms. Caves/Entrances - There are two entrances into the caves to the north, near the Slaver's Tower area on the first level. The second cave entrance is to the south, near the Mausoleum Graveyard. Much of the caves were the victims of cave ins, the only thing that remains of the extensive tunnel system is a path leading from north to south, an entry into Helheim's sewers, and a cavern where the Arcanite is mined. (Cave system will be a soon to be released update in a month or two time.) Waters of The Cabbala - The water flows from sources above, as a constant source of water that flows through blue mana crystals. Those that drink and swim in these waters feel no side effect, the only result is minerals being filtered and a bio-luminescent blue glow to the water. The waters are home to a few jelly fish like creatures, the Kraken, and any aquatic denizens in the faction. Way to Nascentia - On the east end of the waterway, under the waterfall, lays a tunnel to the waters of Nascentia. This will be a trans sim teleport to the second sim, Nascentia. Portal into Cabbala - At the south east end of the build, nestled within the Fool's Market, adjacent to the Bound Elf Tavern. All portals are redirected to this portal, except ones specifically tailored to bypass the main portal. Black Obelisks - At times, used to attune to the ley lines feeding into the cavern. The purpose of these monolithic obelisks are only known to the leaders of the Cabbala. Stalag Grass and Red Ferns - Due to the nature of the crystalized mana, small groupings of stalagmites and red fern has grown as a natural byproduct of the ambient magic of the cavern. Dear Diary, It is the day after All Hallow’s Sin, and I feel like a new man! (tear stains near this part, perhaps of joy?) Though things didn't go as well as I had originally planned, in the end, I was able to escape that infernal jawbone. Though I can’t return to that realm, the veil will thin again next year, and I can have revenge against those that dared resist, and those that killed, AGAIN, my dracolich, my dearest mount, my beloved Char'ierth. (writing becomes scribbled, as if emotional) My plan was perfect! Millenia of planning within that jawbone, laying in wait for someone to find it, all for it to be scattered to the winds by those pesky mortals, who wanted nothing more than to ‘hunt monsters’. Bah! Little did they know, that’s what I wanted! Those idiots! But they weren’t supposed to kill Char’ierth. He was my friend, my companion in the old days, where we would subjugate all in our path. We ruled my kingdom with an iron fist, as any sorcerer-god-king and his pet dragon should. Damned mortals. (writing clears up) But in the end, I am free of that realm. I am free to travel and become great once again. I am no longer a shadow of my former self, a disjoined spirit traveling from one body to the next, trying to find that perfect host. I had first come upon some asian man, who couldn’t put a bottle of drink down to save his life. His alcoholism even bled through my possession! (Daichi) Then there was the red demoness who sparkled and helped my lieutenants. She was a bit much to handle. (Terra) But then...I found this glorious body. Some homeless wretch that had taken too much opium, and no one cared. He was so empty of life, that his body had become the perfect vessel for me. I keep looking in the mirror, admiring this new body. He is perfect. He will hold my vast spirit, and oh the things the mortals take for granted. Food! Sex, Drugs! The pleasure of women’s flesh once again. I have missed the feeling of how a woman’s flesh parts slowly at the deft skill of my hands, it is such a unique tactile sensation, as flesh parts before my knife, as if a shirt were being unbuttoned. Blood spilling out like goodies from a stuffed party animal that you hit with a stick. I missed the pleasures of a woman’s flesh… But I digress, diary. My plan. I needed energy. Emotional, magical, or any kind of energy I could get my spectral hands on. The easiest for my goals was emotional and magical energy. The people of Sincadere were rife with both. I didn’t care for those monsters. I needed its inhabitants to fight them, become emotionally charged. Use their magics. And all the while I would collect it, store it, use it and my red mist till I had enough that I could break free. AND THEY FELL FOR IT! All Hallow’s Sin Trick! Not Treat, though the idiots thought they were winning. They would defeat the monsters, whether carrots, forest spirit, demon, or undead, and stand over them like conquesting victors. The fools. It all culminated in my party. MY party. I needed a room, and the mist provided. I needed slaves to serve my needs and whims, and the mist provided. I needed food and… well the slaves provided, but the mist provided the slaves. All so we could celebrate the one thing in the realm that I was unwilling to do alone….ME!!!! With the energy and powers at my disposal, I brought the mortals to me, no matter of rank or file. They were all there, and all eyes were on me, as they should be. And it went splendidly. Party revelers seemed to even get into the festivities, despite having been kidnapped. People ate, drank, and danced. I had even danced with the woman who was headmistress of their pathetic college of magic. She was supposed to be THE magical force in Sincadere, but when I danced with her, and her marvelous boobs, that were hanging out I need to note, she didn’t seem to have as much magic as I had hoped to siphon. She claimed denying/blocking me from her magic, but you and I both know, diary, nothing is barred to me. The party was in full swing. Slaves were being used, people were dancing, deals were being made (like they would matter in the end), and people mingled. The energy was charged with emotion, though admittedly, I had hoped I would have to break up a fight. Once I had siphoned from her the last bit of energy I needed, I addressed them all in typical villain fashion. I played the part gloriously. I still think back and almost want to giggle like a schoolgirl. I finished my ritual, and I was FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I left that realm immediately, and I am here now, basking in the afterglow. I wish this new realm had tobacco, I’d smoke it after the railing I gave to Sincadere. Either way, it is time to accumulate my power. Gather a new army. And perhaps next year, when the veil thins again for All Hallow’s Sin, I’ll return once again to that land. This time with an army at my back… |
